LCS&Z Attends NYSBCA’s 59th Annual Convention

Representatives from the certified public accounting firm of LCS&Z recently attended the New York State Bus Contractors Association’s (NYSBCA) 59th Annual Convention in Albany, New York.

“At LCS&Z, we pride ourselves in being proactive advisors to all of the industries we serve, including the school bus services industry,” said Bill Zeronda, CPA and partner at LCS&Z. “This is why it’s very important for us to attend industry conferences and stay up-to-date on topics and issues that are important to our clients.”

The convention was held the weekend of October 18-20. Some of the topics covered in the presentations were: the future of alternative fuels, crisis communication, Baseline Assessment for Security Enhancement (BASE) reviews, crafting and enforcing non-disclosure and non-compete agreements and how to catch the attention of key constituencies.

The New York School Bus Contractors Association is an organization representing over two hundred school bus companies, also known as school bus contractors, whose primary mission is to promote safe, reliable and cost-effective student transportation services in New York State.
