MISSION STATEMENT

LCS&Z, L.L.P. was formed in 1991 by four certified public accountants who had been partners or associates together in its predecessor firm since the early 1970s.

During 1991, William Lutz, Thomas F. Cichy, Edward J. Selig and William A. Zeronda joined to create a certified public accounting firm whose mission is to provide timely, proactive, innovative and independent financial and tax services to privately owned businesses, their owners and families. Understanding that serving our clients is the reason we are here has been fundamental in the firm's growth and success.

ABOUT LCS&Z

LCS&Z, L.L.P. a certified public accounting and consulting firm which had its roots established during the 1930s conducts a fully diversified accounting, auditing, business valuation, tax and management advisory service practice. Services to our clients range from providing ongoing accounting and tax services for Fortune 100 - 500 companies and local businesses, to providing management advisory services and auditing of financial statements of a number of large privately owned organizations, as well as expert testimony in loss of earnings or matrimonial suits within our judicial system. Among our clients are several transportation, manufacturing, construction, automotive and distribution companies with annual sales up to $335,000,000. A number of our clients have been with our firm and its predecessors for more than thirty five years. LCS&Z, L.L.P. takes pride in the fact that we specialize in servicing for-profit oriented businesses. With this focus we are able to concentrate our entire staff's efforts to the task of understanding and improving our business clients.

We currently have a professional staff of 38, including 17 Certified Public Accountants, 6 paraprofessional and 3 clerical staff, which ranks us among the 8th largest certified public accounting firms in New York's Capital District. From our offices in New York City, Albany and Gloversville, we provide services to well over 1,700 various commercial and individual clients. Our services often overlap the traditional categories. As a result, our clients enjoy the benefit of our partners' and associates' diversified experience in all the disciplines. In recent years special services for our clients have included professional resourcing, several large acquisition studies, financial projections and organizational analyses of operating policies and procedures, information technology procurement and systems maintenance.

In order to enhance the global quality of service to our clients, LCS&Z, L.L.P. founded an international association of accounting firms known as INTEGRA International which is currently comprised of 85 firms which are represented in 41 countries with offices in over 130 cities. The Integra Network is an international association of independent tax, accounting and business consultants committed to providing the highest levels of services to its clients, including the pool of resources and skills offered by international cooperation.

LCS&Z and the Integra Network recognize that modern communication is generating increased international business opportunities in a demanding world environment. As a result, we employ the cutting edge of electronic technology to ensure ease of external, inter and intra firm communications.

Because of our concentration on privately owned companies, some of which have been our clients for several generations, we have developed a particular expertise in the transfer of company ownership from one generation to the next. This experience has resulted in our having extensive estate planning experience. As a result, we have performed numerous business valuations for gift and estate tax and buy/sell agreements. We work closely with outside counsel and insurance advisors to develop the most cost effective way of transferring company ownership to the next generation.

The firm is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Practice Monitoring Program, and has received an unmodified opinion during its most recent peer review in May 2005. We are committed to achieve this level of excellence.
